Toll revenue in a financial year that cannot be fully spent is made available in the budget no later than the year after the next as assets (so-called toll balances); expenditure not covered by toll revenues will be deducted from the planned total revenue accordingly at the latest in the budget year after the next (so-called toll damage).



The system costs shown in the graphics are composed of operator compensation to Toll Collect and other expenses pertaining to the toll and operator monitoring.
